The Great Pyramids of Giza: Separating Fact from Fiction
Dr. David Miano, Professor, State College of Florida

Libraries are full of material dealing with the subject of the Egyptian pyramids. Much research has been done on them, but there is so much that is still unknown. Because they have entered the public imagination, countless documentaries, popular articles, and internet blogs feature information about the pyramids, and quite commonly on the pyramids of Giza specifically. With the rise of independent media, however, misinformation about these grand marvels and ancient architecture is sometimes spread. Dr. Miano will address one of the common claims found on the internet these days, that the Great Pyramid of Giza was not, in fact, a tomb, as Egyptologists assert, but something else entirely. Do these claims hold up to scrutiny, or are they built upon a foundation of sand?
